Last Friday 19th August as scheduled the Club Interleague came to an end. This year’s edition had to face some unfavourable weather conditions however this did not stop the organizing team from completing this event in the best of ways and on schedule. Finally Sharks captained by Andreas Galea and coached by Dale Dowling were declared winners however what matters is that all participants enjoyed their waterpolo games while parents and members could see for themselves the efforts these players are doing to improve their skills. This year’s interleague was enriched by the participation of the Club’s female team coached by John Caruana. At the end of the last game a presentation was held where all participants were awarded with a medal while the winning team was awarded with the winners’ cup. The presentation was followed by a short party for all organizers and participants. Refreshments were kindly donated by Johan Tanti of Champ.
We would like to thank the organizing group led by Millicent Said and Mariella Cutajar who also took the role of table officials. A special thanks goes to Juniors Coach Anthony Fenech, Ladies Coach John Caruana and referee Peter Giordano who accepted to referee all matches.
