Yesterday afternoon the Under 14 and Under 19 squads played against Exiles at Exiles pitch.
The Under 14’s even though depleted by the absence of some players including goaler Joseph Navarro gave a good show and managed to stay in the game losing 6-3. The improvements since the beginning of the season are evident as match practice and training with coach Anthony Fenech seems to be helping these boys improve their skills and confidence.
Another good display came from the Under 19 squad. The boys ended up on the losing end by one goal and were very close to obtaining points after being ahead for most of the match. An all Maltese squad figured very well against an older Exiles side which also included a foreign player.
