Yesterday afternoon the Under 16 squad coached by Santino Micallef finished its commitments by beating Sliema 13-6 following a very good performance thus ending up the season on a high note. This win means that the boys even though they did not manage to win the first prize ended up the league unbeaten scoring a total of 157 goals and conceding only 44.
Yesterday the boys were off to a difficult start however soon they manged to turn the score around with two very good sessions where they won the second session 5-1 and the third session 4-1.
At the end of the match ASA Vice President Dr.Simon Galea Testaferrata presented Team Captain Keith Galea with the runnes-up cup. We look forward to resume training with these boys as from the beginning of October as we trust that these boys can keep up the steady progress they have shown this year.
