Due to the severe weather conditions that are hitting the Maltese islands this weekend the BOV Winter League matches scheduled for today including San Giljan-Marsascala were postponed as announced by the Aquatic Sports Association. There is a possibility that these matches will be played on the 19th March.
For the same reason the training sessions for the junior teams that were scheduled for this weekend had to be called off as the Pool management has announced that the pool will be closed.
In the meantime as witnessed by the photo attached which was uploaded on the Club’s Facebook page yesterday, the Club premises are being hit hard by the very strong waves. Some damages have been already reported but an accurate estimate of the damages will only be possible once the storm is over. We hope for the best!
