Three San Giljan ASC players, Mathew Zammit, Dean Camilleri and Andrea Bianchi have been called up by newly appointed National Team Coach Karl Izzo. They form part of a squad of players that will be preparing for the forthcoming qualification tournaments of the Euro Championships 2014.
The first tournament will be played in Denmark in April. Malta is in Group C along with Russia,
Portugal, Israel, Bulgaria and Denmark.
Another two San Giljan players, Kai Dowling and Jean Claude Cutajar have been included in the National B team which will be undergoing training sessions alternately to the National main selection.
