On Friday evening the ASA informed all Clubs of the following:
In the light of the consistent incidents experienced until now this season the ASA Executive has decided that at this moment in time all Championships shall be immediately suspended. This applies to all National competitions, Age-group competitions and also the Women’s championship.
Following this statement, on Sunday afternoon following a request by a number of Clubs including San Giljan ASC, the ASA Executive Committee announced the following:
– Age group and women’s water polo leagues will resume on Monday 28th July as originally scheduled
– The urgent Council meeting will be held on Monday 28th July instead of Tuesday 29th July at ASA HQ, National Pool, Tal-Qroqq, at 18:30 hrs.
