The San Giljan squad that this Sunday will be facing Sliema for the opening Winter League match will include two new players. The first one to join was Clint Mercieca who joined San Giljan from Neptunes soon after the end of last season. Clint is an experienced player with several years in the national team and also a winner of several league title with his former club. The second signing is Dean Camilleri, a home grown San Giljan goal-keeper who is back to our Club after playing for one season with Valletta. In his case it’s a welcome back while we welcome Clint and we wish both the best of luck as we trust that both will be instrumental to help the Club achieve its ambitious objectives.
