San Giljan ASC are proud to announce the signing of Montenegran National Team Player Aleksandar Ivovic as their foreign player for the 2017 Summer Season.
Mr Ivovic has an outstanding career and is currently playing in the Italian Serie A League with Pro Recco 1913. Aleksandar is considered to be one of the strongest defenders in the world even amongst the most complete players in waterpolo. He has been the protagonist at the Final Six Championship in Barcellona in 2015 where he helped Pro Recco to win its eight Champions League.
Born in 1986, Aleksander started his career at Baoisici, Montenegro, at the age of 8, and has won a number of titles, medals and honours along the years. This includes being named the 2015 Athlete of the Year by the Montenegrin Olympic Committee.
We are sure that Aleks will be a great asset to the team and will ensure that San Giljan ASC will be a protagonist in the coming season and bring home more trophies to the Club.
