The much expected direct clash ended in a draw. 
It was a very tight match indeed where none of the teams managed to take over. Our boys were very contracted for most of the game and did not manage to express their potential. Tactically they found it very hard to break the zone carried out by Neptunes in their defence. However, even if they were chasing for most of the game they managed to remain in the game and even managed to go ahead in the last session but did not manage to hold on to the slender advantage.
This result leaves the title race wide open. Worth noting is that this game was watched by a sizeable crowd and several San Giljan supporters made it a point not to miss out and give their encouragement to the boys. For the occasion the team displayed new kits and technical apparel supplied by technical sponsor Jaked. Finally it was very nice to see that a group of San Giljan under 14 boys who were not participating in the game took up the job to give all the necessary logistical support to the Under 16 players by preparing and looking after all the necessary stuff required for the game including caps, beverages etc. Well done and thanks to all!
