Interview with promising youngster Andreas Galea

Following his three week training stage in Torino we asked promising young player Andreas Galea some questions:

First of all Andreas wanted to thank his family especially his mother and his grandfather, the family of Daniele Falchi who hosted Andreas during his stay in Torino and his Club San Giljan ASC.

When asked to point out a difference between local waterpolo training sessions and those he experienced in Italy he commented that the training at Torino was more based on match practice.

Andreas added that he feels that he learnt a lot from this experience even on  a personal level. He also feels that he improved his swimming which is particularly important to play waterpolo at a high level.

Finally, Andreas shared with us his ambitions which are those of becoming a prominent player in such a way that waterpolo would be his main activity and perhaps even manage to play abroad.

We wish Andreas the best of luck as we trust that his efforts will find all the support from all the coaching staff and the Club’s administration.
