This afternoon the Senior Team left Malta heading to Siracusa to participate in the “Memorial Gianluca Veneziano”. This evening the team played the first Match in the tournament against Muri Antichi where the final score was
a draw, 10-10. The boys made a very good comeback to earn a prestigious draw against the Serie A2 side.
The next matches of the tournament will be played tomorrow 31/05/2012 at 12:30 against Acicastello and at 19:30 against hosts C.C. Ortigia SR.
The Tournament presentation will be held tomorrow at 20.30.
Following the tournament the team will also be carrying out an intensive training camp with hosting club Ortigia Siracusa.
For the Club this is a return to Sicily after twenty years from the experience in Acireale in 1992. The team led by Head Coach Karl Izzo is being accompanied by Club President Dr. Daniel Aquilina and by Club Secretary Mr.Anthony Attard.
