Tough day for Juniors

Both Under 15 and Under 20 squads played Sirens at Sirens pitch. The Under 15’s lost 12-4 in a game where the opponents were sharper in their shooting to take an early advantage which they kept up throughout the rest of the match. The performance of the San Giljan boys will have to improve if they are to stand a chance of collecting points against similar strong opponents in future games. The gap between the two teams was even wider in the second match were Sirens showed why they are considered to be the best of the crop in the oldest age group. The Sirens team is further strengthened  by two very strong foreigners. San Giljan had to do without the injured Andreas Galea.

The next junior fixture in this very busy week is scheduled for Wednesday 25th at San Giljan pitch at 17.30 where San giljan play Exiles at Under 20 level.
