San Giljan’s win over Exiles and Neptunes’ defeat to Sirens means that our boys are now top of the table. Yesterday’s win (11-1) was a convincing win as the San Giljan boys dominated from the very first session of the match providing coach Bogdan Rath with the opportunity to rotate his squad for the rest of the match.
Next the boys travel to Gozo on Saturday 18th for a double fixture as both Under 17’s and Under 20’s play Otters.
Yesterday’s result puts a lot of weight on the San Giljan-Sirens match scheduled at San Giljan pitch on Thursday 23rd August at 18.00 which could be decisive for the Under 17 league title.
