San Giljan beat Neptunes 8-5 in the final to win the tournament after having beaten Italian side Latina and Sirens in the group stage. San Giljan looked dominant throughout having gained an early four goal advantage which the team managed to administer handsomely for the rest of the match. It was indeed a great debut for coach Matthew Pisani who throughout the tournament worked closely with Club Head Coach Karl Izzo.
At the end of the final team captain Ben Plumpton was presented with the winners’ cup by ASA President Mr. Joe Caruana Curran.
