The President and Committee of San Giljan ASC are pleased to announce the signature of Spaniard Svilen Piralkov. Svilen will be entrusted with coaching the Youth Teams in the U13 (in collaboration with Matthew Pisani), U15 and U17 categories and also be available for selection as a third foreigner with the 2013 senior team. Svilen’s signature was enthusiastically welcomed by the hard-working Youth Sub-Committee due to Svilen’s experience, enthusiasm and qualifications.
Svilen currently plays for C.N. SABADELL (Spa) and has played at international level with Bulgaria from 1993 – 2002 and with Spain in the 2007 World Championship in Melbourne, the 2008 Europe Championship in Malaga and the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
Svilen also has a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Activity Sciences and Sport by Physical Education National Institute. (INEF) and is recognised as a Waterpolo superior coach by the Royal Spanish Swimming Federation (RFEN).
