San Giljan crushed wooden spooners Exiles Ferretti albeit making a slow start in the first two sessions. The first ended 2- 2 with Clint Mercieca and Kayne Lanzon in evidence but the Saints pulled away in the third and fourth sessions winning by large margins.
Aurelian Cousin and Dino Zammit helped themselves to three and four goals respectively with Peter Borg also getting in on the act.
The final scoreline of 15-3 showed the great gulf between both teams and San Giljan are now with two victories under their belt and a good bet for this year’s Winter League.
