We are pleased to announce the election of our new President, Peter Bonavia!
Peter, born in 1973 is married to Antoinette and has three boys who all play waterpolo with San Giljan ASC. Peter has been following waterpolo since the late 1980’s when his good friend Jonathan Valletta was becoming a top waterpolo player in the local scene at the time. Peter fell in love with the game of waterpolo and destiny led him towards getting close to San Giljan. He joined the club’s committee for the first time in 2012 and rejoined it in 2017 after an absence of two years. In 2019, following Dr Daniel Aquilina’s decision not to contest for President of the club, Peter was eventually elected as President of San Giljan ASC on the 26th of October. We wish Peter the best of luck in helping our great club to continue growing and to achieve what our many supporters at San Giljan dream of every year.
