San Giljan ASC are pleased to announce an agreement for a 2 year extension with Coach Zarko Petrovic who will continue to be in charge of the training of all Junior teams within our youth sector 
Zarko’s career varies from playing in many different countries such as Serbia 
, Turkey 
, Montenegro 
, Spain
& Italy
.
He Coached several teams at different levels, where he has won medals and championships, most notably:
Under 20s, Under 18s, Under 16s and Under 14s Championships
2012 Silver medal in European Youth Championship in France with Serbian National team
2012 Bronze medal in World Youth Championship in Perth-Australia with Serbian National team.
Zarko obtained his coaching license from the Serbian water polo federation for all ages in 2004. From 2007 to 2011, he was the assistant coach of the water polo club Glatasaraj – Turkey and the head coach of all junior selections in the club. During that time, he won 5 consecutive titles at all ages! 
From 2014, he was the assistant coach with the Serbian National team, which took them to Olympics, World Championships & European Championships.
Zarko’s exceptional coaching has already been of great impact with our Juniors, including our U15s trip to Palermo back in February, and the improvement seen in our Nursery irrespective of the COVID19 limitations which we faced this year.
We thank Coach Zarko for his sterling work and look forward to further success with his abilities.
