Today the Club’s under 14 and under 19 teams played Sliema at Sliema pitch. As expected the under 14’s found the going very tough. Our boys were beaten with a heavy score by a far more experienced Sliema side. However our boys kept on trying till the very end and managed to score a couple of goals. Hard work under the guidance of coach Twanny Fenech and match practice should help our young boys improve throughout the season.
The Under 19’s even though comprehensibly beaten were always looking into the game. Considering the young age of our boys, this was a good performance which should prove useful in the learning process of our boys who are always playing again boys who are a couple of years older.
